Now, Assumption College sets their eyes on globalization with a world-renowned TOEIC® credential recognized in over 120 countries. The TOEIC® test has a total of 990 points. In 2012, Assumption scored 200 points higher than the Asian average. The Assumption community prepares to answer the call of ASEAN 2015 and an increasingly-connected world through the use of the TOEIC® -Test of English for International Communication.

Sr. Anna Carmela S. Pesongco, R.A. President and College Dean, signed a Memorandum of Agreement to use the TOEIC® Program for the graduating classes. The TOEIC® will help asses and prime test takers for a globally- competitive environment through tests in Listening and Reading. Results become an added credential for AC Graduates who choose to apply for companies and institutions with international standards.

In taking the TOEIC®, the community makes a pro-active response to the established common standard of language measurement for global organizations. The test helps assess the workforce readiness of students as they prepare to compete in the global workforce, and assist in placement as TOEIC® test scores help determine who has the communication skills to succeed in school and in business.

By ensuring that Assumption College Graduates will be able to interact effectively with colleagues and clients across cultures throughout the globe, graduates will be ready to step up and leave their mark in helping transform the world.
